Student Leadership Opportunities

We offer a range of leadership roles that allow students to contribute to school life in ways that reflect their strengths and interests.

Head Boy & Head Girl

Our senior student leaders represent the school at key events, model exemplary behaviour, and support younger students, acting as ambassadors of Edison Aspire’s values.

Prefects & Senior Leaders (Secondary)

Prefects help maintain a positive school culture by assisting with events, supporting peers, and promoting responsibility and respect throughout the school.

Student Council (Primary & Secondary)

Elected representatives from each year group voice the ideas, concerns, and suggestions of their peers. They collaborate with staff on school improvement initiatives, lead campaigns, and help organise events that strengthen student engagement.

Class Monitors (Primary)

Younger students gain early leadership experience through responsibilities that build confidence, teamwork, and accountability.

Learning Through Leadership

Our leadership programme is intentionally integrated into school life, giving students opportunities to:

Lead assemblies and awareness campaigns
Help organise school events and charitable initiatives
Participate in peer mentoring and buddy systems
Work collaboratively on student-led projects
Represent the student voice in decision-making discussions

These experiences teach students to listen openly, work collaboratively, and act with integrity — skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
